Reading has its rewards! Just ask a Roosevelt Tiger. 🐯📚
Back in January, Roosevelt students participated in the annual Read-A-Thon, earning prizes for reaching different reading and fundraising goals.
One of the most memorable rewards? Silly stringing the principals!
Students who raised at least $250 earned the chance to spray Mr. Bradshaw, while students who read at least 250 minutes got to spray Mr. Willyard. That explains why Mr. Willyard ended up with WAY more silly string than Mr. B!
But don’t worry… we have a plan to even things out next year!

Bus riders: Students should arrive home about one hour earlier than usual.
Monday: No decision has been made at this time.

Riding the Range at Roosevelt! 🤠
Our Pre-K Tigers celebrated Farm Day by pulling on their boots, topping off with cowboy hats, and diving into farm life. From climbing into the seat of a Massey Ferguson tractor 🚜 to lassoing calves, shearing sheep, and taking care of daily chores, our little farmers had a day full of hands-on learning and big smiles!

Last Friday, Roosevelt Tigers celebrated with an all-school assembly recognizing student awards and clip-ups. Principal Brian Bradshaw and Assistant Principal Lee Ann Willyard brought the school spirit to the floor as they honored Roosevelt leaders—Mrs. Willyard even joined the fun in her blue-and-gold celebration suit. It was a fun filled morning for students, parents, and teachers. 💙💛
