Inside the Classroom | Learning in Action
Seniors in Mrs. Hendrickson’s AP Literature and Composition class brought a poetic twist to March Madness!
Students became poets themselves, writing original poems and competing in a classroom poetry bracket. Then, they picked up pen and ink again to analyze their work, highlighting the literary techniques that transform words into lyric art.
Creativity, competition, and critical thinking—all in one lesson! #PryorTigerStrong

This Tiger is an Artistic Star!* 🎨✨
Marie, a Pryor High School sophomore, has been lighting up the library with her beautiful painting of a star-filled sky. Inspired by Van Gogh, her artwork is a highlight of Hobby Month. But Marie’s impact goes beyond her masterpiece—she launched this program to give students and staff a place to enjoy and display their creative hobbies.
