leadership team

Pryor High School Lead Team students stepped up last Friday, September 5, 2025, presenting their personal leadership journeys before school board members from across Oklahoma. The event was part of the Living the Leader in Me: Implementing a District-Wide Leadership and Character Education Program session at the OSSBA/CCOSA Education Leadership Conference, held at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

Pryor Superintendent Dr. Lisa Muller, Assistant Superintendent John Potter, and School Board President were in attendance, watching with pride as students confidently shared how leadership is cultivated at every grade level and campus within the district.

Accompanied by Leadership Teacher Shelley Brown, the students illustrated how they are moving into more complex areas of leadership—not only within Pryor High School but also in the broader community. Brown provides ongoing guidance as students develop the skills to take initiative, influence others positively, and embody the district’s commitment to character education.

Through their stories, the Pryor High School Lead Team demonstrated how leadership development is woven into the fabric of education in Pryor Public Schools, affirming the district’s belief that every student has the potential to lead.
