Congratulations to Coach Pate on being named Region 3 Tennis Coach of the Year!

Since taking over the program in 2020, Coach Pate has put Pryor Tennis on a path to incredible success, including state qualifiers every year since 2021. His impact goes beyond the court, too, giving players opportunities to experience college tennis firsthand with visits to OU and TU.

Axis HealthCare of Pryor will offer student athlete physicals for only $20 on May 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Burdick Center.

This opportunity is open to all 7th–12th grade students participating in athletics, band, cheer, and pom. Don’t miss this convenient chance to check one more thing off your list for the new school year.

Another great week of Tiger Tennis. The student athletes have been working hard and it is showing. They had a lot of tough competition this week and showed how determined and committed they are. We can not wait to see what these athletes do in the coming weeks at Regionals and State!

Pryor Creek is alive with the sound of music! Rehearsals have been under way since February, choreography and songs have been learned, sets are being completed, costumes have arrived, and we are now only 12 days away from Pryor High School Choir's production of Rodger's and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music." Performances are Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st. 7:00PM both nights. Adult tickets are $10. Student/Children tickets are $8. Tickets can be purchased at the door both performance nights. Advance tickets can only be purchased through a Pryor High School Choir member. At this time we are only able to accept cash or checks. No credit cards, venmo, paypal, etc. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

After months of hard work, the Pryor HS choir earned straights 1s in both stage and sight-reading at OSSAA State Choir Contest with both our mixed and treble choirs! The students worked for it, and today they earned it! Way to go Pryor HS Choir!

Tiger Families, we’re excited to offer great summer learning opportunities for our elementary Tigers.

Summer Explore is for students who have completed Kindergarten through 3rd grade, and Tiger University is for students currently in 4th and 5th grade. These programs are built around engaging, hands-on learning that helps students stay active, curious, and connected during the summer months.

Classes will be held June 1–25 at Lincoln, Monday through Thursday, with no school on Fridays.

Don’t wait to sign up—applications are due by May 1.

Pryor High School Varsity Tennis competed in the Claremore Invitational Tournament on Tuesday. The girls walked away with a clean sweep taking the title of Tournament Champions. Individual girl placings were as follows: 1-Singles (1st Place), 1-Doubles (1st Place), 2-Singles (1st Place) and 2-Doubles (1st Place). The boys were Runner-Up. Individual boy placings were as follows: 1-Singles (1st Place), 1-Doubles (2nd Place), 2-Singles (4th Place) and 2-Doubles (1st Place). Both teams fought hard and had a great start to the season.

The Pryor High School Leadership Team represented Pryor Public Schools well at the Leader in Me Symposium in Dallas, Texas. Students delivered a polished, engaging presentation that earned strong applause and positive feedback from educators and students from across the country.

The team highlighted annual traditions they help plan and lead at PHS, including the Lip Dub, Back-to-School Night, and dodgeball events, ideas that sparked great conversation and connected with the Texas audience.

Outside of the symposium sessions, students and sponsors also enjoyed experiencing Dallas together, including dinner and jousting, hat-making, and a stop at Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

Reminder: Course selection forms are due TOMORROW, February 19. Students should turn in their course enrollment form to their Tiger Time teacher. If they do not have a Tiger Time teacher, they should turn the form in to the counseling office/front office.
