Pryor Public Schools seeks interested candidates for appointment to Board of Education Seat Number Two. Ward Two encompasses the northern central portions of the school district.
The Board of Education will select from among interested candidates and appoint a member to complete the term for the seat recently vacated by Brandon Perry. The current term for Seat Two ends in April 2027.
If you are interested in applying for this appointment, please consider the following information.
1. Candidates must have resided in Ward Two for at least six months (See Board Ward Map).
2. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, a high school graduate, and a registered voter.
3. Candidates may not be related within two degrees by either blood or marriage to any employee of Pryor Public Schools (See Nepotism Chart).
4. As required by law, the district will not contract with any member of the board or any company, individual, or business concern in which any member of the board is directly or indirectly interested. A member of the board is considered to be interested in any contract with a company, individual or business concern if the member of the board or any member of the immediate family (including a partner) of the member of the board owns any substantial interest in the same, or if an organization employs or is about to employ one of these parties. The only exceptions will be those allowed by OKLA. STAT. tit. 70 § 5-124.
Applications must be returned to the office of the superintendent, Dr. Lisa Muller, no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 1, 2026.
