Gates helping student

Concurrent college enrollment is a valuable opportunity for Pryor High School juniors and seniors who want to begin earning college credit while still in high school. With Rogers State University enrollment opening on April 6, students interested in concurrent classes should make plans to complete the process as soon as possible.

To qualify for concurrent enrollment, students must meet one of the following admission requirements:

  • 3.0 GPA, or

  • 19 composite score on the ACT or PreACT

At RSU, tuition is waived for up to 18 credit hours per year, including summer, fall, and spring semesters. Students are still responsible for fees of $20 per credit hour.

Students must apply for either a tribal scholarship or the MidAmerica Industrial Park Concurrent Scholarship to be eligible for assistance from Pryor Public Schools.

Restrictions apply for students seeking fee assistance for concurrent courses.

To complete the application, students will need:

  • Social Security number

  • physical and mailing address

  • parent or legal guardian email address

Students who still need assistaGates in officence or have questions should contact Mrs. Gates as soon as possible.

For eligible students, concurrent enrollment offers a strong head start on college, helping them save money and begin working toward future academic goals while still in high school.
