Rachel sordahl

Rachel Sordahl, a 2009 graduate of Pryor High School, has been honored with induction into the Northeastern State University (NSU) Hall of Fame for her outstanding accomplishments in women’s soccer. She is the first women’s soccer player to receive this recognition.

Sordahl played for NSU from 2009 to 2012, making her mark as a standout RiverHawk athlete. She scored 41 goals and tallied 89 total points, achievements that place her as the second-highest ranking player in the history of the NSU women’s soccer program.

Her senior year took an unexpected turn when she suffered a career-ending injury, but her passion for the game kept her on the field. Sordahl stepped into a coaching role for the RiverHawks in 2013, guiding the team to a 15-win season—still tied for the most wins in program history.

Before her collegiate success, Sordahl honed her skills as a member of the Pryor High School girls’ soccer team, where her talent and competitive spirit first stood out.

Her drive for athletic excellence has continued beyond soccer. Sordahl has gone on to compete in triathlons at a high level, earning the title of All-American three times through USA Triathlon.rachel
